This project was for a popular restaurant offering authentic Burmese cuisine. The interior design scheme is naturally inviting, with light wood and concrete finishes complemented by the warm pink hues of the walls and the use of green foliage. The commercial tile package was devised to provide both aesthetic appeal and durability to meet the demands of a busy city restaurant.

The classic matt finish of the rectangular tiles gives the walls of the restaurant a striking textured feel and has been specified in shades of soft pink and dramatic black. The larger format, unglazed porcelain tiles in dark grey provide further contrast and interest to the broad wall areas. The floor of the restaurant has been styled a contemporary interpretation of a classic Venetian Terrazzo design.
